Wanda C. Scott, spinto soprano, is a native of Gary, Indiana. Ms. Scott made her professional debut with Light Opera Works in the Gypsy Princess and The New Moon. She has sung with the Chicago Opera Theatre in Four Saints in Three Act. She performed as a soprano soloist for the Bravo Chapter of Lyric Chicago, and is a featured soloist in The Three Sopranos. She has also sung with the Northwest Indiana Symphony. Additionally, she’s a featured performer for the Munster Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as many other civic and cultural events throughout the United States. Ms. Scott has performed for many professional sport venues, with some of her performances being televised on ESPN throughout the world. While studying at DePaul’s School of Music in Chicago, she performed in numerous operas, concerts and recitals; most notably, The Magic Flute, Mozart’s Requiem and A Game of Chance. Ms. Scott studied voice under internationally renowned opera singer, Ann Perillo. She also earned a music certificate while performing and studying in various cities throughout Italy and Switzerland. Currently, Ms. Scott is starting preparation for her first CD and is continually singing for many private and community events.
